Our community is made up of lots of brilliant and committed people who care tremendously for their own and other people's pets. Here is our very small notice board style directory of some of the people that we know in Finchley and the surrounding area.

dog walking:
The Finchley Dog Walker (077 077 6 33 44): Derek is a wonderful dog walker who takes dogs out on their own, which makes him particularly well suited for dogs who are nervous of other dogs or just need a bit more personal attention
Green Dog Walking (020 3394 0074): Joe and his team are great for dogs that love to run free all day as they take their dogs to Hampstead Heath and let them off for anything from a few hours to a whole day.
Muddy Paws of Finchley (0785 007 1260): Carole and Lottie are right round the corner from The Finchley Vet, they are dog crazy and love taking dogs out on adventures and can often be spotted in the wilds of Kenwood!
Priceless Pooches: Jo is a really warm hearted, lovely lady who takes many of the local dogs for walks around Finchley and is a great choice for small dogs wanting a more relaxed walk.
Doggydayz (0774 6472063): Jayne is massively engaged in her local community and looks after small dogs for walks and boarding. She is a really friendly person and has a wonderful way with dogs, only taking a maximum of three dogs out at any one time.
Bone Rangers (07854 700324): Kate, Kellie and their friendly team have offered one on one walks for the last 10 years. They also offer a puppy programme and in house dog training.
Wag + Stride (07835 248 562): The wonderful Hayley is passionate about caring for animals and with two miniature schnauzers of her own, she understands the needs of dogs and their owners very well indeed. She provides boarding, daycare and a pet taxi service, all with great love and care.

cat sitting:
Cop Cat Sitting (07790 277784): Michael used to be a police officer. He now provides a very personal cat sitting service to the cats of Barnet. He does his cat sitting visits himself and is a loving, caring owner to 2 of his own as well.
Pawsome Cuddles (0771 0130459): Cat sitting, cat boarding, dog walking, in house dog sitting! If it woofs or meows and you need help when you go away or during the day, Sehrish at Pawsome Cuddles can usually help.

Zuzi's Dog Grooming (078 726 22578): Zuzi's offer bath & tidy, full groom, puppy baths, nail clips, dematting and even doggy daycare.
The Yuppy Puppy (020 83614591): Andrea does stunning grooms and has a stunning shop in Friern Barnet. For dogs and cats.

Pet Shrink (07471 821 696): Penaran is a super qualified behaviourist and part of the highly respected Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors.
Val's K9 Training (07572922605): Valentina offers training for well behaved dogs and for more challenging pooches as well. She also offers online advice through her website.
Tip Top Dog School (07831 165876): Barbara and Sue run this very well established dog training school. They give tremendous support to many owners and their dogs.
The Modern Dog Trainer (07939232198): Simone has done science based training with The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers. She helps anyone from new puppy owners, fearful dogs to high profile celebrities!
Wolfgang's Way Dog Training (07725087870): Alex offers personalised 1-2-1 training based on the most up to date, positive methods. Alex has been hand-selected by renowned canine behavioural specialist Sarah Whitehead to become a licensed trainer under her Clever Dog Company Method.

Wagging Tails (07930 558128): This wonderful organisation boards dogs in homes of people who have a little extra space. Gary and his dog Copper personally check out each and every home to make sure they are all tip top.
Amy's Pet Services (07957 137188): Amy and her team offer live-in pet-sitting, daycare, dog walks, and cat and small animal visits in and around the London area.

small animal boarding:
Crumpets (02087234555): Nikki is a friend of the practice and has done nursing for us. She is a veterinary nurse and cares for small animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils, whilst you are away.
A Furry World (08448501522): Small critter boarding includes pamper, play and TLC, daily, out of cage handling (unless otherwise specified), feeding, giving meds, light brushing, changing bedding.
pet & house sitting:
Secure Sitter (0774 341 5695): Winston will look after your house and your pets whilst you are away. He originally wanted to be a primary school teacher but transferred those childish quirky qualities into entertaining pets! Dogs love him. He is a responsible but fun sitter!
