A dog who came in with a painful cut paw pad

Ralph came in to The Finchley Vet with a horrid cut on the paw pad of his back foot. The cut was about 1.5 cm long and had penetrated through his pad - it must have been incredibly painful - but superstar Ralph remained his cheerful, bouncy self!

The wound was severe enough that Dr Oli had to stitch it up so that it would heal as quickly as possible.

Ralph was anaesthetised and Oli and nurse Charlotte checked the wound for any foreign material and cleaned it thoroughly before stitching it.

Ralph was really brave throughout his procedure and every time he came for check ups at The Finchley Vet, he was always smiling! We are pleased to report he his now back to full health!
