Get to Know Our Team

Jodie White
Vet and Referral Specialist
BVSc, MRCVS
Jodie qualified from the University of Bristol in 2008. She started her career in Mixed Animal practice, treating cows, sheep, horses and alpacas, cats and dogs. She once helped rescue a cow from a muddy river bed – 5 hours later and with the help of the fire brigade, it was saved. After a short time, Jodie moved to just treating small pets like cats and dogs and has been doing that ever since.
As a very experienced vet, Jodie loves being an all-round general practice vet and especially enjoys navigating complex internal medicine cases (conditions which affect internal organs). In her spare time, Jodie knits and has recently helped to make blankets for the North London Hospice and woolly hats for high-risk babies in the post natal ward in hospital. She also is an avid reader and boardgame player.

Jitesh
Administrative Assistant
Jitesh is new to the team and is developing his role within the practice, handling everything from arranging meetings to choosing the best office plant! He previously worked as a PA for a bakery, where he even fried doughnuts— a skill he may yet bring to this role!
Always keen to learn, he has completed Google’s training on VLOOKUPs and formulas in Google Sheets and continues to build his skills online.
Outside of work, Jitesh enjoys running, the gym, and podcasts. He speaks English, Hindi, and Gujarati—learning Hindi fluently through Bollywood movies! A big fan of The Office (US), he doesn’t have pets but loves looking after his friends’ cats and dog.

Zoë
Client Care Team Member
As part of our reception care team, Zoë welcomes clients into the practice, handles bookings, and helps keep each day running smoothly. She has a strong interest in animal welfare and previously worked as a Cattery Intake Coordinator at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. She originally studied law at Nottingham Trent University, graduating in 2022, but soon found her passion lay in working with animals and people.
Outside of work, Zoë enjoys all things creative—reading, dancing, crafting, and writing. She’s also always on the lookout for local live music gigs to check out!

Violet
Client Care Team
Violet works at reception and is also responsible for capturing pet photographs for the practice. She is new to the healthcare industry after spending time in hospitality, and is currently studying Digital Marketing through an online course. Passionate about community involvement, Violet volunteers with multiple charities, including administrative work for Byng Road Allotments Group, writing for the Barnet Resident’s Association newsletter, and creating social media content for the National Childbirth Trust. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three cats—Peanut, Hazelnut, and Chestnut (aka “The Nuts”)—and has a keen interest in wine and spirits, having even competed in national cocktail competition.

Crystal
Student Vet Nurse
Crystal started her Student Nurse course in 2024, having previously been one of our excellent Veterinary Care Assistants. Crystal honed some of her skills in an animal sanctuary in South Africa, helping to treat cheetahs and servals—not that we see many of those in North London!! Outside of work, Crystal absolutely adores music and travel, hoping to tick more countries off her list very soon.

Marina
Practice Manager
Marina manages our wonderful Client Care team and keeps the front of house and non-clinical parts of the practice operating smoothly. She is currently studying for a veterinary management diploma and is passionate about ensuring that our clients’ experience is as good as humanly possible. Outside of work, Marina loves sailing, martial arts, and making a fuss of her cat Henry.

Hannah
Registered Vet Nurse
Hannah is one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses, having qualified in 2021. She spends her days looking after pets when they get admitted for care or procedures or running our wonderful nurse clinics. Outside of work, Hannah has a beautiful Labrador, Fred, and loves to bake. She is currently trying to tweak classic baking recipes to make them healthier—“with mixed results,” she says!

Dr Rebecca Spaull BVSc MRCVS
Vet and Clinical Director
Rebecca is our clinical director—which means that, as well as seeing patients, operating, and all of the other regular vet work that she does, she is also in charge of making sure that the recommendations, treatments, and products that all of the team give to their patients are as up to date and effective as possible. She is also in charge of training for the clinical team, making sure that our knowledge stays current. She qualified in 2013 from The University of Bristol and after working in a busy London Vet Hospital for 2–3 years, she moved to Australia to work as an emergency and night vet before returning to London. When not working, she spends time boxing, gardening, reading, and trying to master Italian!!

Dr Oli Robinson BVSc MSc MRCVS
Vet and Founder
Oli qualified from The University of Bristol in 2009 and after working in various practices around London felt that there was a lack of practices which treated people and their pets with the personal, individualised care they deserve. So in 2016, he set up the Finchley Vet to provide personal, local, and high-level care to the pets and people of Finchley and the surrounding areas. As the practice has grown he has continued to make sure that he still spends quite a lot of his week on clinical work. He has particular interests in veterinary dentistry and anaesthetics. Outside of work, when not spending time with his family, he is a keen Brazilian Jujitsu player and is very slowly trying to improve, having received his Blue Belt in 2023.
